Windows 10: Windows 10 Fresh Install Freezing at Various Points of Setup

I ran into some troubles on my PC not too long ago, so I decided to do a complete reinstallation of Windows to get it back in a working state. Using the Creation Tool, I installed Windows into a clean SSD (the same SSD that I reinstalled windows some time before) and everything went smoothly in terms of the installation


However, in the setup screen for a new installation, I experienced freezes happening at various points (even confirmed the freezes using narrator). These range from after selecting the keyboard layout, to after choosing the network to connect to, to sometimes even after just choosing my region.


Now normally, in the past few times ive done this (with the same computer and SSD) I’d just reboot the PC, and after some reboots I’d finally be able to “successfully install” Windows and continue on with my day. This time however, no matter how many times I restart it, it still freezes at those points and I can’t continue. Going through with the installer in safe mode works perfectly fine, but it cant go past creating a MS account and just loops. I even tried installing it to my other SSD to once again, the same problems


I’m honestly lost and tired. I’ve spent more hours than I probably should’ve trying to fix this issue to no avail. Stuff like RAM I know is fine since I had ran Memtest before and got no errors after 8 passes so I’m not even sure if its a hardware issue. Im not even sure why installing Windows this time is giving so much trouble, when all the times I did it prior it managed to work. It’s really frustrating because I’m wasting time from other things just to sort out this issue. Any help will be appreciated



I think this could be a BIOS issue, or a setting in BIOS that should be enabled/disabled. I should mention that I am running an ASUS PRIME Z-390P motherboard and BIOS I believe is updated to the latest version (2606)

Windows Vista Wont Install Freezes?

had the same problem, freezes and long installation including each step loading, in my case a bios update helped.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
