    Windows 10 Fresh Install


    Hi everyone,

    Looking for some insight here. I recently did a fresh install of Windows 10 through the Windows cleaning option where you can delete everything and do a fresh install. Once it did what it did (after a few hours of wiping) and I got to my desktop, I noticed that even though things were definitely looking like a fresh desktop, there was a few things that were different.

    Firstly, I didn't ever have to enter my serial again. Does Windows just always keep this? Secondly, I have a wireless dongle thing external to my pc that during the very first installation of Windows I had to install a driver for it to work, however this time it just worked instantly.

    I cannot see any evidence of any old files on my pc, there is no Windows.old, nothing. But I don't understand how some of this stuff just worked or remained, did I technically not do a complete fresh install somehow?

    NOTE: Just to clarify, aside from the serial and odd driver, there was nothing else I could see that "carried" over. Windows file is small (12GB) no pictures, documents etc. Everything looked wiped.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Fresh installs do it too, in fact i have had the same bs happen. Might be suggested apps which you can turn off.
