  1. Windows 10 *glacially* slow... System Interrupts at 100%

Greetings All - This is my first time posting so I'll ask for your forgiveness in advance for an social faux-pas.

I have two identical machines that I put together for two of my children - the whole remote learning thing. They are both running x64 Windows 10 Pro. I have found that they both experience the exact same problem. They will work fine for a while - minutes to hours - then all of a sudden they will drag down to a glacial crawl. Very slow. So slow that when I try to open the task manager, it says that the task manager is "Not Responding." When I "look under the hood" in the task manager, the CPU's are all maxed-out and "System Interrupts" are near or at 100%. If I reboot the machine, the system returns to normal until the next time - mere minutes to a couple hours away.

I've gone through all the "usual" debugging steps that I can find online, but so far nothing has provided any relief. The consensus seems to be that it is likely a drive issue, but I can't figure out which - I've used the shotgun approach - updating the ones I can - to no avail. I've seen on several forums that experts have asked for a snapshot using the Windows Performance Recorder and Analyzer - So that's what I did last night. I waited for the system to act-up again and then grabbed a 30 second snapshot with the recorder. Here is a dropbox link to the etl file below:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/rfc8l54iw0mkjc6/DESKTOP-8AKGHGK.03-30-2021.12-21-26.etl?dl=0

Is there somebody here that can possibly decipher what is in this file and figure what is going on? And point me in the right direction?

Thank you very much. I greatly appreciate any help that is provided.

    Best Regards,

  2. System Interrupt 100%

    Hi Team,

Off late my system briefly hangs or stops responding randomly - I have Acer Aspire laptop purchased 3 months ago with Core i5 1035G1 10th generation with Windows 10. On a couple of occasions; I was able to access task manager and it reflected "system interrupt"
under processes tab marked in Red with value of 100%.

The problem appeared after I encountered BSOD once and following news on the internet, uninstalled cumulative update KB566782. Since the uninstall, I've not encountered BSOD issue again but then noticed this new issue of "system interrupt @100%" which previously
    did not occur.

The only other change my system has gone through; is updating system drivers via "Intel Driver Support Assistant". Following is the history of update:

    1. Roughly 3 weeks ago - Intel UHD Graphics driver update and Intel Wireless Bluetooth (21.110.0.3)

    2. On 16Sep2020 - Intel UHD Graphics driver (27.20.100.8681) and Intel WiFi Driver (21.120.2.1)

Please suggest what can be done to fix "system interrupt" issue.

    Thanks in advance

    A

Windows 10 *glacially* slow... System Interrupts at 100%

Slow Laptop at times. Possibly a System Interrupts Issue

    Hello.

    Windows 10 Home 64-bit.

My laptop is often very slow with CPU usage at 100%.

All necessary start-up items have been disabled, my SSD has been trimmed and junk files cleared.

In Task Manager, 'System Interrupts' is often at 100% (see below).

Performance Monitor shows some errors too:

Windows 10 *glacially* slow... System Interrupts at 100% [IMG]

When using my webcam for video chats, there is a lag of at least 5 seconds for other people viewing me (ie/ video and audio are not in sync). This happens using Google Chrome or the Facebook Messenger Desktop app.

I mention this as CPU is always at 90 - 100% as well when using my cam although System Interrupts is at an OK level (5%) during said chats.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks.
