Windows 10: Windows 10 Going Absolutely Crazy

Please don't ask me how i got to this point.


So i got a new laptop around 10 months ago and around 10-15 weeks after that i signed up for the windows insider program.

Everything was fine until around a month ago,

i updated,

Green Screen

I downgraded, everything was total chaos.

And, well

Windows are dragging,

The start menu is broken,

Artifacts EVERYWHERE

Super slow

Task manager got corrupted so i had to use process explorer from sysinternals.

And my laptop gets so hot sometimes i literally cannot use it on my lap.

My laptop literally almost melted my phone case.


ANYTHING will help.

Also, i cant reset windows because i have really important stuff on here.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows 10 - fonts going crazy

Hi,

Let's find out why this happened on your Windows 10 tablet. Please provide answers to the following:

• Did you make any changes in your settings before you last turned off your device?
• Was there a recent update that was installed?

This could just be a result of your settings for the text size being altered. To correct it, please follow these steps:

• Go to Control Panel.
• Select Appearance and Personalization.
• Select Display.
• Under Change only the text size, choose the item with the text size you want to resize.
• Lower down the size number for that item.
• Click Apply.

We suggest you select 9 as the size for all items since this is the standard size that Windows uses.
