Windows 10: window's 10 hangs

Hi I'm using hp pavilion ab000ctO , 8gb ram and i7 6700 hq. but still my laptop hangs. whenever I boot my laptop it hangs for sometime then works fine even I have disabled some applications too. cortana don't even work perfectly. sometimes it works fine but sometimes it fu***. So what's the benefit of using this much high end laptop. please tell me a solution to make my laptop work smoothly. my laptop has window's 10 version 1809.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
