    Windows 10 Hardware Media Key Handling


    For Windows Desktop/Systems, not for Chrome or other browser.

    Anyone know how to get rid of the audio volume overlay pop up that happens any time you hit pause, place and so on? It appears in the top left of the screen, says #general, because I assume it's for system, not for chrome or edge (both have been disabled)

    I use the key for discord push to talk, and it pops up over games, and everything, it's highly annoying and needs to go the way of the dodo.

    Help me to remove Windows media player panel

    Below you’ll find 4 steps to follow.

    1) Go to the Chrome address bar to type:chrome: // flags / # hardware-media-key-handling

    2) Press Enter. You will see a list with Hardware Media Key Handling settings at the top.

    3) On the right, expand the drop-down list and select Disabled.

    4) Restart Chrome.

    Google and download the "Windows 10 media creation tool"

    Create a USB flash drive ISO and that's all you need...it will work without needing a key..
    Just skip past entering a key during full install and delete all partitions, format, create new drive and install...

    As long as you have upgraded from Windows 8 first...you need to do that prior to using your Windows 8 key for 10.

    Thanks but I don't want to do any decrypting. I want to download a Win 10 ISO from Microsoft and install it using my Win 8 key. No other steps required. Is that possible?
