    Windows 10 Hello problems with Logitech Brio Stream webcam


    Hi, I got a Logitech Brio Stream Webcam, I plugged it in, it installed camera application is working well, but Windows Hello could not find the camera when I tried to set it up, I always got an error message (all other functions working fine). I tried reinstalling the drivers and also tried removing the Face biometrics driver in device manager for Windows Hello as I thought its reinstall could help as well. Now Windows Hello is saying it can not find a supported camera for Windows Hello and I noticed that the biometric driver is not coming back to device manager no matter how many times I hit scan for hardware changes. I tried out the camera on my Windows Home laptop and there it is working flawlessly with Windows Hello. I tried out all USB 3.1, 3.0, 2.0 ports on my system.


    I am using a Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Ultra motherboard, with an Intel I9 Core 9900k, and 32 GB Ram.


    My windows details: Windows Pro 64bit, version 1903, OS build 18362.145, Installed on 5/30/2019


    Any ideas how to fix this?

    Logitech BRIO not working with Hello after upgrade


    Just upgraded to Creators Update (1703) and there were no errors during the install but now my Logitech BRIO camera is not working with Windows Hello.

    I can see the camera listed in device manager with no errors and it works in Skype but at the logon screen it says that no camera is available. I tried turning Hello off and on again but that didn't help.Also tried different USB ports but that didn't help either.

    There is a Logitech KB about this but it didn't fix my issue:

    Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it?

    Does anyone have the Logitech BRIO webcam?

    If so, how well does Windows Hello facial recognition work with it for you?

    My old Creative/Intel Realsense F200 webcam died on me, and was looking at this one for a replacement.
