    Hello.

My CPU was 8 years old when I decided to buy new hardware.

    Now I have:

    CPU: Intel 8700K

    Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix Z390-F

Graphic: MSI Geforce GTX 970 Gaming 4G

    Memory: 2x 8gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3000

and a Samsung 860 EVO Basic 500gb with Windows 10 on it.

All the components are working fine - how do I know this?

I did the following until now:

    - I updated all the drivers in the device manager.

    - I tested the temperature

    - I ran CPU, GPU and memory stress tests - all worked fine.

    - I downloaded WhoCrashed, it says the following:

On Sun 27.01.2019 11:31:27 your computer crashed or a problem was reported
    crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\012719-8656-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: hal.dll (hal+0x42667)

This is likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

When I bought the new components, I booted my desktop with Windows 10 on a Memory Stick.

Since then I have 2 BODs (bluescreen of death) per day.

They happens mostly while ingame, today the first time while the computer was starting up.

What I don't know is the following:

When I checked my drivers with TweakBit (automatic driver updater) it said that 14 of my drivers are outdated. But in the device manager the mentioned drivers are said to be updated. Included in those 14 drivers are my mouse and my keyboard as well.

I would be happy if you could help me.

I don't think it's my hardware that is failing.

Does any one of you have an idea to help me resolve this problem?

    Kinds Regards

    Julian

    :)

    HAL DLLs error on XP

I finally put my computer together And ran into problems. First problem was once I installed windows XP I could not get my PC to run through VGA so I connected it though S-video. Now window starts up and works fine. Next I installed the GPU drivers and set the res to 1080p, and restarted using the VGA output. Everything worked fine. Next I installed the MB drivers, restarted and could not get windows to run. I tried to install windows again and now I get a software error saying Something about HAL DLLs. I am a noob, a very fustrated noob. Please help me. Thanks in advance. *Respect :respect:

I went on yahoo and did a seach but only got info for NT.

    DLL Missing

The problem is, that the required DLL is not actually even listed there.
There are just dozens of download adware links from the top to the bottom.
