Windows 10: Windows 10 Home Edition Feature Updates

I have Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit. Am able to successfully load a Quality Updates, b Driver Updates, c Definition Updates, and d Other Updates.


I successfully run with no issues: a Windows Update Troubleshoot, b DISM, and c sfc scan.


The only potential issue and may be it is not an issue is it could not install Feature Update to Windows 10, the last feature update is version 2004 and it was unsuccessful, last system attempt was last Dec 17, 2020. If I click on “Check for Updates” it says “You’re up to date”. At bottom right of screen in system tray, it says “Windows Security - No action needed”. So could it be, my system does not need “Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004” and feature updates beyond 2004 are not applicable to my system?

Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.
