    Hi all,


    I had delayed Windows 10 home update to 30 days later standard just to avoid possible Microsoft update issues that were surfacing recently. And today I got notification for installing pending KB4497165. I did a reaearch and this update was for the Intel CPU micro-code. Why am I getting this update with my AMD CPU based system? Is it safe to install it? Will it impact my system or Windows stability? I had WIndows 10 Home on this AMD system and I'm not sure there's any way for me to avoid installing any pending update that were pushed to me. Any advises will be appreciated.

    Yes, microsoft considers it a security update so it is installed on ALL systems and includes both an Intel and AMD File , which don't do anything IF you system is not effected....

    And another thing. KB4497165 is an update for v1903...be careful.
