Windows 10: windows 10 Home ver1903

Using Outlook 2007 prior to Windows 10 upgrade. After a year on Windows 10, I start getting a message that "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions ... " This happens whenever I click on a http or html link in an email message. I have not had this problem in the past year, just recently. I don't know if it is due to a recent update to either Windows or Office. I have tried the Microsoft FIX and the many recommendations to edit the registry to add htmlfile, but none of these worked. I am starting to think of dumping windows for alternative operating systems even though I do like Windows 10. Please provide alternative recommendations !!!

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
