Windows 10: Windows 10 Home version

Several months ago, I purchased Windows 10 Home version and Parallels version 14 for use on a Mac. I am no longer interested in using either one of these products.


I have two (2) questions.


1) Is Windows 10 Home version a subscription service and if so how do I cancel any auto-renewal licensing agreement associated with it? I've spent a lot of time burrowing through the labyrinth of Microsoft text documentation on this issue as well as attempting to communicate with their automated support attendant and don't want to spend any more time pursuing these so-called resources.


2) I would like to uninstall Windows 10 from my Mac. What is the recommended way to do this?


I'd appreciate any other advice that relates to the above issues.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
