Windows 10: Windows 10 i.s.o. not downloading

Three times I tried to download the Windows 10 i.s.o. using the Media Creation Tool but each time, after the process is complete and the screen says “Your flash drive is ready”, I find the the flash drive is still empty. No files appear on the flash drive and nowhere else is there any sign of the download. Yet each time, almost 4GB of data had been chewed up. Would anyone know why this is happening? In the past I’ve never had this problem and even if I use another new flash drive, the situation prevails, Something is definitely not quite right somewhere. Can someone please help?

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows 10 forced download

I actually had a client call yesterday with an email problem. when I tried walking him through some steps, he says "Yeah, I don't see that there, but I think it's because it's updated to windows 10. It did that a few weeks ago. I came back in on Monday, and it said Welcome to Windows 10"..... I think I'd throw the computer out the window.
