Windows 10: Windows 10 Indexing fails to open

Windows 10 in Workgroup 1909 Was 1903 upgraded to 1909 Ran sfc and Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations. Control Panel, search for Indexing, Shows differently shows Indexing Options Control Panel 32 bit, click and fails to open So open Outlook 2016, Options, Search, Indexing Options then never opens

Have tried another user admin also and same issue

Why do we see Indexing Options 32 bit on a 64 bit machine?

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows 10 Windows Search / Indexing Stops Completing

I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps

• Press Windows key + R.
• Type Services.msc In the search box.
• Select Windows Search
• Restart the services and set the service as Automatic

If the issue persist try performing Rebuilding Index again.

To rebuild the index follow the steps below:

• Open the Control Panel from the Start menu.
• Open Indexing Options in the Control Panel.
  
• Select the Advanced button in the Indexing Options window.
• Select Rebuild in the Troubleshooting section of the Advanced Options window.
• Select OK when it asks if you’re sure you want to re-build the search index.
