Windows 10: Windows 10 Insider Preview 19008.1 (vb_release)

I am having an issue during the update. The update starts and seems to run normally, completes the first phase and then restarts. After the restart the process resumes and continues normally until it reaches 88% completion. Once at 88% the spinning wheel stops and there is no further progress. I have tried the update several times and each time it gets to 88% and freezes. Just to make sure I let it sit fully powered on over night, 7 hours later status had not changed, still at 88% and PC was unresponsive.


At this point I was forced to do a hard reboot. The first message that appeared was "Attempting to recover installation" after a few seconds the next message displayed "Undoing changes made to your computer". It took about 15 mins to roll everything back and at that point system operated normally but continues to prompt to try and install the update 19008.1 (vb_release) all over again.


Anyone else have this issue?

Windows 10 Insider Preview 18995.1 (vb_release) Problem

I have successfully updated my Laptop to fast ring Windows 10 Insider Preview 18995.1 (vb_release) about a week back. My Laptop has entered into some sort of a loop and after every restart it tells me to update to the same update that is Windows 10 Insider
Preview 18995.1 (vb_release). On doing so it restarts normally again but without doing anything and with the same. I have already gone through the loop six or seven times.

The whole affair is very annoying and what do I do to get out of this loop.

Another bug with transparencies has been fixed in this build.

This is not mentioned in the list of fixes. In the previous build Microsoft had already fixed another bug that also had to do with transparencies.
