Windows 10: Windows 10 Insider Program User Options to Stop Insider Program Missing: How to Exit...

Hello: I've been participating in the insider program and intended to select Option Number 2 to stop receiving Windows 10 Pre-release version upon receipt of the next production version.


I now confront this problem. Upon downloading and successful installation of pre release build 17763.1 the forth option to halt further prerelease builds upon installation of the production release, which was the forth option, no longer exists for me in Windows Insider Program Stop Insider Preview builds.


Build 17763.1 is functioning fine, but once the Windows Production Release comes to my machine; how will I be able to stop the insider program and continue as a regular Windows 10 user? I have a license for Windows 10 so there should be no issue regarding the authorization. My concern is to avoid having to reinstall the operating system and the trouble of installing all of my other programs that I have paid for.


Thank you to anybody with suggestions. I tried to communicate with a MS help tech, but was told to deal with it in the Windows 10 Insider Program Community.

Follow these steps:

1. Right click Start Button or press Windows + X keys and select Settings.

2. In the Settings app, navigate to Update and security > Windows Insider Program.

3. Click on Stop Insider Preview builds button. Then select the Stop Insider builds completely link.

4. Moving on, click Confirm in the confirmation prompt.

5. Finally, click on Restart now button and you’ll be now out of Windows Insider Program on your Windows 10 device.

If you type Update into the Cortana search bar you will see an option for WIndows Update Settings. In those settings there is an option for Insider program. In the Insider program settings there is a button to Stop Insider Preview Builds
