Windows 10: Windows 10 Install Error: 0x8007025D

First time posting here, let me know where I need to add additional information.


I'm working on recovering an Acer Swift 3 laptop with an Intel i7 processor, and 8GB of RAM.


When I try to boot with normal BIOS settings, the computer boots in this order:

1. Keyboard backlight appears
2. Screen backlight appears
3. Acer Logo appears for ~2 seconds (no spinning wheels, cursors, etc)
4. Computer restarts, and repeats the process

Right now I can only access the BIOS settings (I attached pictures of the menus I have available), and the Boot Manager. The Boot Manager, however, doesn't give me any options to mess with. I would like to try a Hardware Diagnosis but the Diagnostics tab is unavailable in my BIOS menu. I'm assuming this is a caveat of Acer laptops.


I've tried (prior to the Windows 10 install) each of the recovery options when the PC goes into the Automatic Recovery menu (after the boot process is interrupted 3+ times). I then tried downloading and installing Windows 10 from a USB, via the Windows Media Creation Tool (WMCT), and also by downloading the ISO from the WMCT and mounting it to the USB manually (with Power ISO).


Originally, the installation would reach 48% through "Getting Files Ready for Installation" and then present the error code 0x8007025D, or "Windows cannot install the required files. Please make sure all files required for installation are available." The web suggested this was due to a bad ISO, hence why I tried using the WMCT again, and then also downloading the ISO on two separate, working machines.


I read online that disabling the Secure Boot (UEFI) could make a difference, so I disabled it, rebooted, and tried the installation again. Now the installation reaches the same 48% but goes immediately to the Blue Screen of Death, and says "Your PC ran into a problem and must be restarted. Collecting Information."

I've spent the whole of today and yesterday trying to install windows 10 onto my SSD, it's not partitioned as i have read from various sites that the installation software will you all of that but everytime it get to the step after copying the files over i get the error 0x8007025D and nothing i've found online has worked.

I just assembled a new pc with the following config:

- i3 8100 CPU
- 8 GB DDR4 RAM
- MSI H310M PRO-VH
- WD 120 GB SSD

I have another Windows 7 pc from where I created a bootable Windows 10 USB. I used Windows Media Creation tool. Then I started installing windows on the new pc and in the second step it gave an error 0x8007025d. The error text is Windows cannot install required files. Make sure all the files required for installation are available.

What should I do ? I tried re-downloading iso using that tool and gave one more shot but it did not work.
