Windows 10: Windows 10 install error code 0Xc1900201

Hi - I am having issues with updating my windows to 24H2, even though I appear to have requirements, I receive a error code 0cx1900201.My system spec are:OS Name Microsoft Windows 11 Pro Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621 Other OS Description Not Available OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation System Manufacturer HP System Model HP EliteBook x360 830 G8 Notebook PC System Type x64-based PC Processor 11th Gen IntelR CoreTM i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz, 2419 Mhz, 4 Cores, 8 Logical Processors BIOS Version/Date HP T77 Ver. 01.18.00, 28/08/2024 SMBIOS Version 3.3 Local Disk C: 920GB 686 GB free

Mike,

I followed the YouTube tutorial. As I said previously the very first step failed. I continued following the tutorial to the end. The Powershell step - WUAUCLT.EXE /UPDATENOW did not function as in the tutorial. After going through all the steps I reran the Windows 10 Update Assistant. I ended up in the exact same place as before. "Something went wrong" error code 0xc1900201.

Any other advice?

trying to upgrade to windows 10 from 8.1 I have SSD drive error is telling me can't install usb drive. It is my C: drive 500gig get error code 0xc1900201 how do I install on my SSD drive ?

Yes, try the troubleshooter for WU and see if you get the 1803 KB file after. If you're in the same loop, see in Regedit if the value is set to 1:

If you still have no success, reset WU:
