VPN software installation (IPVanish) in Windows 10 fails with message in log that says: Error 0x80070643: Failed to install MSI package. IPVanish support says this is an error with Windows update itself
and is not allowing the .NETFX to work properly. They referred me to Microsoft Forum link: Redirecting,
but that link refers to errors when trying to install the actual Windows 10 updates, not outside software. I did run the .Net Framework repair tool suggested in that link,
but it did not fix the error and installation of IPVanish failed again.

I already had IPVanish installed on my computer, and it was working fine until I tried to install the update IPVanish sent me. I have done a clean install of the software per instructions from IPVanish, but installation
still fails every time with the same error message in the installation log.

Do you have any suggestions for me?
