    Windows 10 installation failed from Windows 7


    Hello, My computer is running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and I want to install Windows 10 Pro. After launching the Media Creation Tool, I start the installer prepare, download, etc., select the option "keep personal files and applications" and then start "install Windows 10" blue screen. Then at 70% the installer stops and a window pops up with the message "Windows 10 installation failed". I tried from USB key, same thing happened. Thanks in advance for your help! Cheers, Gábor

    Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

    As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.

    Windows Updates failed to instal

    I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
