Windows 10: Windows 10 installation Failure

I recently "acquired" an HP pavilion p6000 series computer with Windows 7 Home Premium factory installed and after checking, I thought correctly, that it met all the system requirements to upgrade and install Windows 10 Home, I proceeded to do so. All was well through out the whole process until after checking for updates the "checking your PC" page appeared and after a while it displayed the "Windows 10 Setup" page again with the message, ", Sorry, we're having trouble determining if your PC can run Windows 10. Please close Setup and try again." I did so several times with the same ending result. I couldn't find any error codes or other messages connected to the result. Is my computer simply not compatible, or doesn't meet the required Hardware? Is there anything I can do to get around this besides purchasing a new computer? I thought maybe it was my Graphics card but couldn't find a definite answer to that. Please help! I thank you for any info you can provide.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
