Windows 10: Windows 10 Installation not working

Hi


I know i'm pretty late to the party, but i'm trying to upgrade to windows 10 from windows 7


I have a freshly formatted SSD waiting to have Windows 10 installed on it.


I have purchased a valid Windows 10 License Key, downloaded Media Creation Tool from Microsoft and created a USB drive to install windows 10, however i just cant get it to load. I tried both methods.. USB boot and mounting the ISO file to the USB to boot from and both give me the same result.


Sometimes it boots and gives me Error Code 0xc0000225, sometimes i just get stuck on the blue windows logo and nothing happens at all. I have tried changing my bios settings after scouring the forums for answers to no effect...


All i want is a fresh install... i have backed up everything i need externally! Please Help!

Motherboard: ASUS P6X58D-E

Processor: Intel Core i7 930 2.8GHz

GPU: Nvidia GeForce 1060 3gb

10GB RAM

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Installing Windows 10 using Windows 7 key

Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.
