Windows 10: Windows 10 Installation on New Build

I'm getting bits together to build a new computer after my Windows 7 computers motherboard failed and have a couple of questions regarding installation of Windows 10.

I've seen in various places that you can still use a Windows 7 activation code to activate Windows 7. The computer that failed was one I built some years ago and had Windows 7 Professional on it - the Retail version, NOT an OEM.

I still have the DVD and the activation code, so can I use that to activate a new build with Windows 10 ?

I have downloaded and used the Microsoft Media Creation tool to create the installation media on a USB stick. I noted that this just refers to Windows 10, and does not mention different versions such as Home or Professional.

Assuming I can use the Windows 7 Professional activation code, will I get Windows 10 Professional, or will it be downgraded to Windows 10 Home version ?

I've still not decided on the components for the new build, but it will probably be an Intel I9 based machine using an Asus Hero XI motherboard. Thing is I have noted that one supplier of built PC's has stated in the configuration page for some of their gaming computers that Windows 10 Professional will not work with Intel I9 processors, and that you have to use Windows 10 Professional High End version.

I've not found much info on this High End version anywhere, so can anyone throw some light on this possible incompatibility of Windows 10 Professional with Intel I9 processors ?

If so, how do I get this High End version of Windows 10 Professional ?

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
