    I recently got a new SSD and wanted to restart my computer from scratch. So I wiped both my hard drives with the intent of reinstalling windows via a bootable USB (which I made on a MacBook). I have been able to boot from the USB and open the installation process, however once I formatted my hard drive and attempted to start the installation I for the longest time was getting an error message saying that I couldn't install windows on the hard drive.


    Eventually after watching some YouTube videos and playing around in the command terminal I was able to get the 'installing windows' screen to come up. However before making any progress on the install I get an error message that says "Windows installation encountered an unexpected error. Verify that the installation sources are accessible, and restart the installation." It includes an error code 0xC0000005


    As far as I can tell this is a generic error code and gives me literally no information on how to fix the installation. Does anyone know what I can do to get the installation to move forward? I feel like this should not be so hard....

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

    I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
