Windows 10: Windows 10 installed some updates and now my laptop over heats?

When I turned my laptop on, windows finished installing updates which is fine, but since installing the updates, my laptop overheats and shuts off. Have the power profile set to battery life, and resources usage is low. To roll out hardware issues, I booted into Linux and did some stress test and Laptop never overheated or shut off, stayed on the whole time I did the stress testing.

no, you can't go back..
I suggest creating a backup image of your os drive

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
