    Hello, I have recently got a new windows 10 PC. However, I am unfortunately gaining severely low internet speeds in comparions to my old system.

    I have moved the cable from one PC to the other, with my existing windows 7 PC getting over 100mb on speedtest, however with the same cable my windows 10 PC gets around 20mb on speedtest.

    I am in the middle of trying to set up this PC, but can't because I can't download any large audio libraries due to these slow speeds (it accesses a download manager which must be installed on the windows 10). It's rendered me at a stand still as some of these files are in excess of 30GB.

    I have ran through the troubleshooting help, and it confirms everything is operational.

    Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

    As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.
