Windows 10: windows 10 is garbage

I spent MORE TIME FIXING it then I do using it.


look. I understand you have to justify your expensive college education by randomly making more and more useless operating systems - I'm sorry Ill never understand how " hard " it is to plug away at computer code - what the hell would I know, right? I'm just a dumb welder who actually works for a living making useful parts that last and never have complaints about my product.


it must be sad to have higher ups that insist that you write crap that fails, such as Edge ( brilliant idea, btw. bravo. I love it when my hard drive and memory are going bonkers keeping up!) and Cortana. and OH! defender is awesome! completely useless, burns up even MORE space than ever... if my immune system was like defender, I would be dead by now from the common cold.


your operating system BRAND NEW takes up HALF of my computers processing. HALF, dude. HHHHAAAAAALF ( 3.5 quad with 16 Gb ram) this is liken to the fuel efficiency of a diesel engine running on burned motor oil, full throttle, pulling a mountain. Its disgusting.


you think you got the consumer by the balls, because we have limited choice on operating systems. - ever hear of Mac? - every new OS version - worse than the previous. you NEVER solve the problems from before, just add on new ones. and **** like ourselves have to go online to constantly hunt down how to fix YOUR ****. - its not our job. - if my clients had to repair broken welds in my work, Id be fired. like.. straight up. pack your bags, and I'm pulling your welding certificate FIRED.


I will be purchasing a mac - and throwing this boat anchor away.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
