Windows 10: Windows 10 is gone

Having delt with computer issues for the past 40 years, hardly anything can surprise me any more However, that has changed over the course of the past 3 days. Let me explain:


Basically, My windows 10 is up and running. All of a sudden, it halts, chrashes, and then it starts up as windows 95. Last time it happened, I simply restarted and windows 10 booted. But not today.


When restarting, it relentlessly starts as windows 95 as it looked when the machine was first build. Even the disks and the content of the disks are portrait in this ancient form.


When searching the internet for solutions, you a rarely alone, but in this case, I am. What is wrong. What can I do. The problems, by the way, started with an update 2 months ago.

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
