Windows 10 jacked after restarting a lot

Hello, I have a problem, I hope you can help me.

So I’ve been using Windows 10 for awhile, with a good antivirus and VPN, always a bit slow but fine. Just yesterday, I decided to upgrade my protection with better programs so I got Kaspersky Security Cloud and NordVPN. My computer started acting weird when I finished with Nord so I started trying to reinstall it and restarting my PC like a neanderthal its all i know how to do :c . I have no idea what that did, but now I can’t connect to the internet: wifi networks either don’t have internet, take forever literally to connect, or don’t show up at all. A lot of settings too the ones I need the most seem to take forever to load when I click on them, which has made fixing the issue a literal nightmare.

Oh, and of course this is the night before my final presentation blah blah blah fixed asap blah blah, I’ve already accepted how screwed I am. Can anyone help unscrewing my Windows 10 at least? I’ve turned it off and back on enough I think :

Please tell me if I should include more info, thanks.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
