Windows 10: Windows 10 keeps refreshing after recent updates were installed

After some very recent updates to Windows 10 (Sept 2018) my screen started refreshing and going black for a few moments. I went online and was advised to disable in Services, Windows error reporting, and Problems support and solutions. This noticeably slowed down the refreshing but did not resolve the problem completely. I then noticed that the refreshing happened whenever a notification appeared from the notifications utility on the right side of the screen. So I disabled all notifications and retained the two disabled services. I suspect Microsoft will issue an update that fixes the issues. This may not work for everyone but I have not had a refreshing problem in any shape or form for approximately 24 hours.

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
