Windows 10: Windows 10 Key won't activate with the error 0xc0000022

I've been stuck with this problem for a few days and is really getting on my nerves since I can't download my audio drivers without activating Windows 10. The key I had deactivated and I went to buy a new one and found out that I'm still getting the error 0xc000022. I've been trying to work it out with Microsoft through the Help chat and through the phone, but each time we reach nothing.

Window 10 Activation Error 0xc0000022 after Recovery

Hey Community

I was running Window 8.1 and got upgraded to Window 10. About 2 weeks later my Start Menu button and all buttons in the action center stopped working so i performed a reset on my PC using the system settings and chose the option to leave my personal files.

When windows reinstalled again, it said that i need to activate my copy of Windows and a watermark "Activate Windows" is present in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.

When i click the Activate button in Update & Security > Activation setting page, it states Windows cant activate. Try again later.

It gives the error of 0xC004F012. However, using Produkey by Nirsoft, i was able to locate my product key and it is the same (the last 5 digits as the rest is hashed) as the value that the page shows me under "Your Product Key Info" as *****-8HVX7

Using that product key i get the error of 0xc0000022 "Error Installing Product Key"

Any suggestions?

Possibly there can be the problem with Microsoft activation Server, so your Windows 10 is not activated. In this scenario, you need to wait and verify if it is the issue from Microsoft’s side. But if you are getting error code 0x803f7001, you can also try these steps:

1. Open Settings app. Then go to Update and security > Activation screen > Change product.
2. Type your Windows edition product key and click Next.
3. You’ll get We couldn’t activate Windows error message.
4. Retry steps 1-3 then type your 25-characters unique product key.
5. Wait for the process to complete, Windows 10 is activated.
