Windows 10: Windows 10 Keyboard Driver Issue

Hi MS,


I just bought a Philip mechanical keyboard 8404 and I am facing driver issue with this keyboard.

And, I have tried method 1 and 2. It doesn't work at all. This Windows 10 keep on resetting and detecting the Philips keyboard.

BTW, I am using a laptop and connect it with external keyboard.


Note: There is no method 3 available for me because Philips don't release its driver for download.


Method 1:


You may also update the Keyboard driver from Device Manager manually and check if this helps.

•Press Windows key + X and click on “Device Manager”.
•Expand “Keyboards”.
•Right click on the Keyboard driver and select “Update Driver Software”. Once this is done, restart the computer and check, if it works.


If the issue still persists, follow the Method 2.


Method 2:


You may also update the Keyboard driver from Device Manager manually and check if this helps.
•Press Windows key + X and click on “Device Manager”.
•Expand “Keyboards”.
•Right click on the Keyboard driver and select “Uninstall”. Once this is done, restart the computer and check, if it works.


My questions are:

1 Can MS works together with Philips to come out with a stable keyboard driver?


2 Whose responsible for releasing and validating the driver: MS or Philips?
