Windows 10: Windows 10 Laptop Help

Last night while i was on my laptop, i restarted my laptop. When it came back on, the keys on my keyboard didn't work correctly, they began typing either too many letters, or they wrote a completely different letter. The caps lock came on and no matter how many times i pressed the button it wouldn't turn off and none of the numbers are working. I can't log into my computer now as i can no longer type in my password or pin number, can someone please help me i have absolutely no idea what happened and i have no clue what to do to fix my laptop, i really don't want to have to throw it away and get a new one as their are multiple important files and just good memories on it, please help i would greatly appreciate it.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
