    Windows 10 Latest Update (19/08/2019)(18/08/2019)

As of this point in time, i have just spent 2 hours installing new sound drivers, reverting whatever this update has done to my taskbar and personalized settings, and even internet settings.

I've always felt pretty sketch about windows 10, and this update even more so. I could only install it by *restarting* my pc, there was no option for it to install when shutting down (which usually it forces to do). Hence I'd just gone for it, thinking "hey, at least I'll be here to see whatever it does to my pc this time".

As for what it did, jesus christ. I have no clue what kind of update this was, but it was a complete mess. I had to re-install my go-to Realtek HD Audio drivers because this update had installed some vague new one. What it also did was randomly change things like my mouse settings, taskbar settings, en even some time & internet properties. This is ridiculous. I literally spent 2 hours trying to revert whatever the **** this random-**** update did to my settings and i have no clue why this happened.

If anybody has an idea what maybe could've happened, had it themselves or knows why it's happened, I'd like to know. I haven't contacted Microsoft/Windows 10 support since they probably won't do **** about it, but if someone might suggest i still do, I might try (again).

Might be changing to Linux or something. Having to do this kind of stuff every single update is just tiring at this point.

    :)

Today we’re pleased to share the following updates:

    • Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
    • Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
      • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
      • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
      • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
    • The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.

    Windows 10 Insider Update errors

I have just updated to Insider version 18956 and have run sfc /scannow. It gave the errors shown in the attached file sfcdetails.txt. These are Defender errors, possibly because Defender was being updated at the same time. What is the best method of repairing
    Defender?
