    So that chart is not complete because it would mean instant disaster for windows including mine, I would install as legacy even if and when I make a computer with UEFI.

    exactly MS knows knows not everyone has UEFI so be bad if they stop them upgrading to windows 10

Since UEFI didn't start appearing in a routine manner until the Win8 PCs came out, and numbers-wise, those are the smallest part of MS's worldwide customer computer base, it would be INSANE to require UEFI as a requirement to install Win10 after it hits production. My guess is that doing that would immediately eliminate ALL of their Win7 customer base and reduce the eligible base to (maybe) 15% of the existing base?

    As I mentioned in the thread devoted to this information, I am NOT going to go out and buy a new PC just to have UEFI to install Win10, not when my 4-year-old "legacy" BIOS system works just fine now with Win8.1 and Win10TP.

    My take is the it is just showing that uefi is required for secure boot, same thing with W8. W10 will not require it in my opinion.
