Windows 10: Windows 10 live photo tile only will show recent photos slideshow on it

Windows-10_Live Photo Tile, only change to show the -Recent Photos-slideshow. Will-not change to show a single photo.

  Where does the photos folder located?

  Did you try to change the folder location and check?
  

I suggest you to follow the below steps:

Step 1: If the photos folder is located on the desktop, try to create another folder and copy all the content to the newly created folder and add this folder for slideshow and check.



Step 2: Try to create new folder if different location and copy all the content to the newly created folder in different location and add this folder for slideshow and check.

Stopping live tiles on photos for deleted/moved photos

In regards to the live tiles on the Windows 10 start menu for the photo tile:

This rotates photos that are contained within the 'Pictures' folder for my current user within Windows 10.

I know how to enable/disable the slideshow.

However my issue is that I wish to keep this slideshow active, but that photos I have deleted or moved still display within the slideshow on this tile. How can I prevent this from happening?

 

Controlling which photos appear on the photo tile

Hi,

To resolve the issue, we would suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Press “Windows key”, right click on Photo app
• Click “Turn Live tile off”
• Now open the “Photo app”, click on “settings” in the left pane
• Add photos folder in the sources that you want to view on the tile
• In the “photo tile” option, click on “recent photos”
• Close the current window, again press “Windows key”
• You should be able to see the selected images now
