Windows 10: Windows 10 Login

Hiya,


I've recently been trying to set up a few local accounts for various members in the family on our PC running Windows 10 and, although I've managed to get one account up and have been able to login to it, I haven't been able to login with the others.

On the login screen, I'm presented with either 'Henry (Student)' (my account) or 'other user', but when I try to login as another user through the 'other user' it requires an email address which the other accounts don't have seeing as they're local.

it also says "sign in with: your work or school account" under the login boxes and I haven't been able to change this (although that's just because I don't know how to)


tl;dr: I can't log into local accounts on my PC because it only lets me login with an email account

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Can't login to new computer w/Windows 10

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.
