Windows 10: Windows 10 LTSB

Hello,


I have computer bought with Windows 10 LTSB. On the label afixed to the computer is written Windows 10 IoT Ent2016 LTSB High End. I need reinstall this computer and I want to perform fresh install without using recovery from current installed system. To do this I have to use another installation media because the old system on the comupter could be corrupted by hacker during a previous attack in our organization. Can I use the same installation media as I usuely use for installing Windows 10 Home, Pro etc.. or not? Windows 10 LTSB has its own installation ISO oposite the Windows 10Pro, Home etc.? If so where I can get it?

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

windows 10 worth the upgrade?

People who don't need Edge, Store, and all those bloated W10 apps can get Windows 10 Enterprise ltsb. Ltsb is a "clean" Windows 10 edition plus you have all Enterprise functionality. Because it's stripped from all that bloatware it installs and boots faster than Pro version. Unfortunately ltsb is more expensive

 

Win10 LTSB GPOs

Hi folks,

Since Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB only has a subset of features, there are Windows 10 GPOs that are not relevant for it.

Is there a separate list of Windows 10 LTSB GPOs?

I found the Windows 10 Group Policy templates (Windows 10 Group Policy (.ADMX) Templates now available for download), but I can't seem to find anything about the LTSB.
