Windows 10: Windows 10 LTSC Activatoin with KMS - Failing on Server 2012 R2 KMS

We recently starting to test LTSC for our company and ran into activation issues with our KMS. I did find we needed the KB for extended support but fail to find the installer. Apparently its no longer available for download from MS.


Seems it is a known issue with no solution at this point.


Reaching out to the community before picking up the phone.


Symptom

After installing this update, installing Window Server 2019 Key Management Service (KMS) host keys (CSVLK) on Window Server 2016 KMS hosts does not work as expected.


Workaround

Microsoft is working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.

import KMS key failed (windows server 2012 for windows 10 kms key against windows server 2012 KMS host server)

My parter set up one Windows 2012 R2 server as the KMS host server. then tried to import the KMS key. the key is generated on VLSC website. however, it shows 'invalid KMS key' when importing KMS key. then double checking with support team, they are sure
the key is valid. so why?

I checked the below link, seems for windows server 2012 R2 to support Windows 10, it needs the update. however, the update failed to install on the server. it said 'The update is not applicable to your computer' , why, how to solve it?

KMS activation for Windows 10 using Server 2012 R2

I recently setup a Server 2012 R2 (Standard Edition) KMS server. I was able to add the product keys for numerous OSs up to Windows 8.1. When I try to install the Windows 10 product KMS I receive a messaging saying "The specific product key is invalid,
or is unsupported by this version of VAMT. An update to support additional product may be available online". All updates and recommended hotfixes are currently installed. The product key being used is:

Windows Srv 2012R2 DataCtr/Std KMS for Windows 10

Any additional help will be appreciated. We are looking to deploy Windows 10 in a few months.
