even though I don't have any unread mails. I think this happened after I clicked "dismiss" on the popup window for a mail in the notification center. (I usually don't click anything on those popups)

Windows Mail App showing 9999 unread e-mails

Windows Mail App has started displaying 9999 unread e-mails in the start menu live tile and 99+ e-mails in the task bar pinned icon since the anniversary windows 10 update. Anyone got any idea how to fix it? I've been though all my e-mail folders and have no unread e-mails and it only started happening yesterday and i updated a few days before that and initially no issue.

  3. Windows 10 mail unread counter.

I have just started using the mail app in windows 10. When i get emails i get my notifications fine but when open the mail app, the unread counter clears. I would like the counter to go down as i open each individual piece of mail. If i get 10 emails and
read 5 of them then leave my pc for a while, when i come back i would like to see the badge displaying 5 unread emails. How can i do this please?

Mail App Live Tile Stuck Showing 1 Unread Mail

    Window 10 64 bit

    Windows 10 Mail App

Left hand tile shows 1 unread message but all have been read.

If I toggle to unread only, it shows I have none

I was forced to switch from Live Mail due to it no longer syncing

WLM worked great for me for years and had better features

I tried both of the above suggestions with no change

Maybe Volume Z can help with this one?
