Windows 10: WINDOWS 10 MAIL APP WONT SEND EMAILS FROM MY ICLOUD ACCOUNT --- SMTP ERROR

Hi There

My Windows 10 mail app has always worked fine in the past with my Outlook, Gmail an iCloud email accounts......


Until recently I reinstalled the Windows 10 Mail App And Added my 3 email accounts again


I added my iCloud account using the 2 step authentication - no problem - All my emails synced - I can Receive INCOMING EMAILS from all 3 accounts

BUT that is not the problem I CANT SEND ANY EMAILS FROM MY ICLOUD ACCOUNT ANYMORE

My current smtp settings is set to 587:1 not working


I have RESET THE MAIL APP 4 TIMES

I have UNINSTALLED THE MAIL APP 4 TIMES

I have REINSTALLED THE MAIL AND CALENDAR APP 4 TIMES

I have done the whole Windows Store Troubleshoot Thing

I have done the whole Powershell remove package thing


HECK I have even Done a complete REINSTALL/RESET of my WINDOWS



STILL NOTHING , the problem seems to be with the iCloud email account outgoing smtp settings????


I have read 100 similar issues on many forums???


what is the solution???????????


I have tried smtp 25:0 with no authentication no working

I have tried smtp 587:0 with authentication not working



Please help


How many times do we have to tell you guys "If if aint broke , dont fix it"

my N9 can't send a email via using icloud smtp server

N9 imap mail sending does not work with .mac/.me (iCloud) mail. I have these settings (automatic and also manually set from Apple page).



Mails stays at outbox with smtp server error (lates N9 update)



SMTP (outgoing mail server) information:

• Server name: smtp.mail.me.com
• SSL Required: Yes
• Port: 587
• SMTP Authentication Required: Yes
• Username: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
• Password: Your iCloud password

If your eMail client has Requires authentication, select it
Most servers use Clear text authentication - do not change that unless your provider gave you instructions to set it up.
