Windows 10: windows 10 mail app

I've been using the Mail app that comes with windows 10. I've been doing so since I ditched MS Office 2016 Pro Plus for almost 2 years now. Every thing has been working as it's supposed to with the mail app until now. I use the "linked" all setting so all mail shows up in main inbox. Now, I get mail showing up in the linked inbox along with mail for each email account. Which is fine but when viewing each email from single linked inbox, it will clear the count but the count stays in each individual email account. Where as before it would clear all inbox's incoming mail.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!
