Windows 10: Windows 10 Mail - Disable/change Hotkeys

I am using the Mail app in Windows 10 and it is frustrating when while composing an email I press Alt+S and the email gets sent.


I would like to disable the Alt+S keys for sending email and the also rather dangerous Ctrl+D (which I found out by tragic accident) deletes an entire conversation.


Any idea how to do this in Windows 10 Mail app? All I can find on Google is how to do it for Outlook.

Windows 10: disable hotkeys for Snipping Tool?

The Windows 10 Snipping Tool has reserved some keyboard shortcuts. I wish to use them with another program.

Is there a way to release these? Or else disable the Snipping Tool completely?

The tool I wish to use instead is Greenshot, which I've been using for years in Windows (XP, 7, 8, 8.1). Here is the message Greenshot displays on install:

I found the registry entries, but I'm not sure what to edit to disable the Snipping Tool.

How to disable a hotkey combination

In answer to your question, it wasn't one of the in-built hotkeys. As I mentioned in my question, the Shift V combination become associated as some kind of hotkey combination, and my computer did strange things whenever I tried to type my last name, which
starts with a V.

I tried your suggested solution. In Windows 10, if you click on the screen, "Graphics Options" is not one of the options that shows up.

I did find a solution: by using System Restore I was able to go back to a time before the problem began, and that took care of the problem.
