Windows 10: Windows 10 Mail Doesn't show accounts.

Hi


I have several accounts which I would like to use with the Win 10 Mail app.


I have set up the accounts correctly and in the same way on three different PC's

Two of the PC's are desktop PC's and the other is a laptop.


The Laptop is the problem.


The accounts are set up in exactly the same way on all the devices but the laptop doesn't show the second email account.


Notice in the image under manage accounts there are two accounts. 1 hotmail and 1 gmail

But on the Left there is only the Hotmail account.





This problem only occurs on the laptop.


Please note:

I have reset the app and re added the accounts.

I have deleted the accounts manually and set them up again


Most important I have the accounts set up on two other PC's without problems


Something I have just noticed, as of writing this post. I am able to add another different hotmail account without a problem, but it appears the problem is only with gmail.

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown

 

Linking external e mail accounts to the Mail tile in Window's 10

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below to delete and existing account that is added in Mail Tile App.

• Open the Mail Tile App.
• Click on the Gear icon in the left bottom corner.
• Select “Accounts” from the list.
• Select the Account which needs to be deleted and click on “Delete”.
