Windows 10: windows 10 may 2020 cumulative update issues KB4556803

I just installed the version 2004, and everything was working great. better than how 1909 was working at the end infact. And then windows update installed the may cumulative update. then everything went to hell. programs stopped opening correctly. explorer kept freezing, and performance was absolutley horrible. it was like I was trying to run win10 on a old Pentium 2, not an i7 8750H. Clock speeds were topping out at 3.90Ghz and utilization was around 10% or so, but the speed how things were running was absolutely horrible. I managed to boot into recovery mode, and uninstalled the last update. and then everything was back working again. anybody else experiencing issues with KB4556803?

Cumulative update issue

Hello!

As usual I checked for updates.. it showed a list to download and install.. After downloading, windows failed to install cumulative update for windows version 1909.. I tried to solve by using 'Have a question' option.. I tried every steps which were mentioned
in 'Get Help' window.. still no solution..

it shows

"There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later.

2020-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems (KB4528760) - Error 0x80073701"

please help me to solve this issue..

Changelog for Cumulative updates released on March 10th, 2020 are as under:

1. Windows 10 1903 and 1909: KB4540673 (OS Builds
   18362.719)
2. Windows 10 version 1809: KB4538461(OS Build 17763.1098)*

For Windows 10 1903/1909, It is recommended to install servicing stack update KB4541338 before installing the cumulative updates.
