    Windows 10 - MEMORY_MANAGEMENT bsod related to ntoskrnl.exe


    Hi,


    I have been getting blue screens with the MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error recently and I have no idea what's causing it.

    For some reason, everytime this crash happens, my Nvidia (nvidia geforce gtx 860M) card also gets disabled after the reboot and I have to manually re-activate it from the BIOS. But the issue can't possibly be related to the Nvidia card itself, since I also keep getting random BSODs even when the card is desactivated ???

    I have tried running Memtest but it said that Windows hasn't detected any memory problem.


    The BSODs I keep getting happen at random intervals and it doesn't look like there is anything in specific that can always reliably cause a crash, so it's hard for me to pinpoint what's the problem.

    Well sorry to tell you but display driver still crashes when launching a game.
    so uhh

    It could be because it's an upgrade from w7 and not a clean install, which I'll try tomorrow, but still.

    Ok, I stand corrected.

    It failed in the first 8 passes combined. I can't see how performing the eight passes in one go can help in the general case (in some special cases sure it can).

    Anyway, I think this thread is solved.
