Windows 10: Windows 10 Minecraft Redemption Code Problems Code already redeemed

Today I tried redeeming a code with my Mojang account for Minecraft on my Surface Pro 7 running Windows 10. I received a code after entering in the username and password for my account. It took me a few minutes to type it in, but when I did I was told the code had already been redeemed. I don't have any other devices that could have redeemed Minecraft other than the Xbox One that I share with my brothers, but one of my brothers purchased Minecraft on that with his own money. I am very frustrated and concerned over this; I am worried that I have either been given a bad code or that it was stolen and used by someone else.

• When did you received the redemption code for Minecraft Windows 10 edition?
  
• Are you signing with same Microsoft account to install the game, which you used to redeem/purchase the Minecraft game?
  
• Were you be able to play this game prior to this issue, was there any changes made in the PC?

However, you can check the
Redeem a gift card or code to your Microsoft account article and check if that helps. If you still face the issue please reply to in-private message sent and also check with the Mojang support.
