Windows 10: Windows 10 minecraft with xbox live and multiplayer servers

Hello,


I recently downloaded the windows 10 edition of Minecraft and couldn't play in multiplayer servers as it tells me that my account can't play due to the way my account was installed, I should be able to change this in the privacy settings of my xbox account. I looked up ways to do that and found another post that had the same issue. When I followed to instructions of the one answer there was. It directed me to this link.

That is the information on how to change the privacy settings. Now, I went to xbox.com, clicked on my settings and indeed I saw something like privacy and safetysettings. I clicked on it and it directed me to that same link I just put in. How do I change it if my privacy & safety button keeps directing me to a screen that tells me "how to change it" rather than the actual settings.


I would very appreciate it if someone could help me with this problem.

A final note, PlayStation users have to pay for online play also It is only PlayStation 3 users that don't . But ask yourself this: If Microsoft offer free play for online multiplayer, how would you fund the servers needed for Xbox Live?

• Higher Game Prices?
• Higher rental Prices?
• Less servers and availability?
• Less servers and sustainability?

Players who already have the previous PC or Mac edition of Minecraft (running on Java) can download Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition for free.
You can play with up to four other people running Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition or Pocket Edition on your local network.
To properly isolate your concern, please clarify the following information:

• Were you able to download Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition on your PC?
• Did you purchase a copy of Minecraft for Xbox One?

The games that you can play on your Xbox console and your PC without paying additional costs are called Xbox play Anywhere Games. You may click on this

link to check the list of Xbox Play Anywhere games.

You can play with up to four other people running Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition or Pocket Edition on your local network. You can also play online with up to four of your Xbox Live friends in online multiplayer gaming. If you purchased or redeemed the code
for Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition you can only use it on a Windows 10 PC.
