Windows 10: Windows 10 Monitor Issue-Laptop, changed to a new 2nd monitor - if connected everything...

So, when I added the new monitor on Sunday morning, everything worked fine. Did go into display settings to tell windows that monitor #2 is on the left not the right. Again, everything worked as expected. Did a full shut-down of computer late afternoon.


Today I powered up my computer and thought I had a virus, I just got a grey screen, no log in screen.

Disconnected the 2nd monitor and tried again, worked as expected.

Connect the 2nd monitor, everything goes to minimized, maximize does nothing. Task bar shows 2 programs running but cannot get them up on screen. Disconnect the 2nd monitor, it all comes back on main laptop monitor.


Help - I can no longer function with only 1 monitor.

• What changes did you make in the BIOS? As making the changes in the BIOS is only recommended by Microsoft if done by the manufacturer.
  

• How are you connecting to the 2nd monitor?

2nd monitor is on but won't connect to laptop

2nd monitor is on but won't connect to laptop like is has been before the update. I need help to make it work.

Color Display on 2nd monitor

I am using Windows 10 on a Dell laptop with a 2nd monitor which has been working fine. For some unknown reason I have suddenly lost the full color range on the 2nd monitor. I don't know if I have changed some setting by accident or what. I have tried
resetting the defaults but that didn't change anything on the 2nd monitor. The primary screen on the laptop continues to work fine. Any suggestions what needs to be done to restore the full color range on monitor #2?
