    Windows 10 - Networking (Homegroup)

    I have four devices:

    1.) Desktop - Windows 10 Home 1803: Build 17134.228

    2.) Black Laptop - Windows 10 Home 1803: Build 17134.228

    3.) Red Laptop - Windows 10 Home 1803: Build 17134.228

    4.) White Laptop - Windows 10 Home 1803: Build 17723.1000

Modem is dual band 2.5Ghz and 5Ghz - all devices are connect to wifi through 5 Ghz (Private Network)

Backstory: I set up a home network a few weeks back, it's a private network. All the devices are set to discoverable and printer sharing. For a few weeks, all the devices would be displayed under Computers in the Network folder. However, as of last week, they are no longer displaying on any of the devices with the exception of the White Laptop. The white laptop displays all the devices as sharing and discoverable, but the devices do not display themselves on their own Network folder. I have no idea what changed or why?

primarily working with my desktop, I've noticed that my profile changes, from private to guest or public sometimes, and the printer sharing is turned off. I turn it on and save it and then when I re-assess it, its turned back off. Not sure if this a glitch or if I need to change some setting.

    Any suggestions?

    :)

    • Select Control Panel.
    • Set View by to Small icons and click on
      Troubleshooting
      .
    • On the left side, select View all.
    • Click on HomeGroup and run the troubleshooter.

If the issue persists, we suggest you shutdown all the computers on your network and recreate your HomeGroup with your main computer. After recreating the HomeGroup, start each computer up and have each computer join the newly created group.
